A sequel to his first self-published book, The Eagle Lake Giant, author P.K. Winter continues his tale on the adventures that happen in Eagle Lake. Filled with excitement and adventures unbeknownst to their parents, the children spend the summer preoccupied with the mystery and power of magical amulets, the fate of young witches, and the battle to outwit evil forces.
About the author
P. K. Winter is a retired IT Director and closet geek who has taken up painting and playing the tenor saxophone. He and his wife live in an old house in Toronto. The Eagle Lake giant - Elg - stories were invented in the 1980s during family drives to their cottage. Back at Eagle Lake is the author's response to a comment from his daughter: "Dad, you can't end a storybook with an unresolved question. You need a second book." Now a grandfather, he dedicates the second Elg book to the next generation of cottage adventurers.
